John's New Toy

Back in September our car started giving us trouble so we decided to look around for a new vehicle, and this is what we chose! I didn't realize my camera was on black and white mode when I quickly snapped some pics at the dealership. It's a good thing the truck is silver (Austin picked the colour!).

Calaway Park

Had a GREAT day at Calaway Park on Sept. 12/09. Planned a day there with friends of ours. I was so shocked at how brave Austin was with some of his ride choices. He had so much fun and didn't want to leave at the end of the day.

First Day of School

Austin had his very first day of Playschool on September 9, 2009. I was lucky to be the first parent helper which I think put both Austin and I at ease. His teachers are Mrs. Ray and Miss Jenell, and they are wonderful. Austin absolutely LOVES school and would go every single day if he could, but for now he goes Monday's and Wednesday's from 12:30 - 2:45. It's nice to have a little time to myself. Our little man is growing up!

Another Scrapblog

Austin is 4!

I can't believe my baby boy is 4 already! The years do seem to fly by! Instead of having a big party this year we took Austin and his friend Alysha to Chuck E. Cheese for the afternoon along with Grandma & Grandpa Zahenaiko, Nana, and Alysha's family. It turned out to be a really great day; had pizza and some dinosaur cake, played some games and called it a day. The best part about it was there was no clean up afterwards!!

Austin got a race track for his birthday this year!

After the party we stopped in for a visit with Austin's Great Grandma & Grandpa. We always enjoy visiting with them and wish we got in to see them more often.

Opening more presents the next day which was his actual birthday.
