Soccer

We decided to put Austin in soccer this year since we noticed that he has a pretty good kick on him and he liked to kick the ball around the backyard. Sounds like a good idea right?! Ok so the first practice/game didn't go over so well. There was a lot of crying and saying he didn't want to play soccer ever again. I was thinking it was hopeless, especially again a few days later after the attempt at soccer team and individual photos which by the way didn't happen. No amount of bribing could convince Austin to have his picture taken...no big deal. The next week went a little better and Austin got out there as the goalie and made some pretty good saves (see video at the end of this blog). He seems to enjoy it most of the time now although he still gets frustrated and stomps off when he doesn't do well (hmmm wonder who he gets that from? lol) but he now gets excited to go to soccer which is a huge improvement. I think his confidence is growing.
